Yzan Argenson is a prominent NPC in Outward.

A close friend of the player and traveling merchant for the town of Cierzo, Yzan began as a simple fisherman in his younger years, but leveraged his talent for organizing people and soon had a small fleet at his command.

In his adulthood, he's gone on several trade expeditions abroad, and enriched himself greatly. He lost an arm and a leg during an accident while at sea, and while he's become comfortable with his prostheses, he's still bitter about having lost the real thing.
~ Aegix Drakan (Writer, Nine Dots)

His armor is unique, and he wields a Royal Great-Kopesh.

Yzan's Stash[]

While in Cierzo, the player can talk to Yzan and he may tell them about his stash, found in south-eastern Chersonese. The hint he gives the player is "The moon commands the stars". The stash in question is found at the Shipwreck near Voltaic Hatchery, on the eastern part of the shore in south-eastern Chersonese.

Spoilers: the solution to the (fairly simple) riddle when opening the stash: Select Moon first, then Stars.

Mugging Yzan[]

  • If you choose the "I'm mugging you!" and "Yes I'm serious" dialogue options during Call to Adventure he will give you 25 silver, but will become displeased with you.
    • Before he leaves Cierzo in Looking to the Future, you can choose to speak to him again and give him 50 silver.
    • Mugging Yzan does not affect the player's ability to join Heroic Kingdom, however it will make the debate with him during Heroic Peacemaker slightly more difficult.

Quest Involvement[]

Yzan Argenson features prominently in the Heroic Kingdom quest-line.

He is also involved in Hallowed Peacemaker.

Yzan Argenson is a member of the Argenson family.
