Toxic Hive Lord is a Unique type of Hive enemy in Outward.
Description[]
A stronger variant of the Hive Lord, found in the Forest Hives in Enmerkar Forest. The boss can be found outside on the other side of the hive.
This enemy drops the unique Worldedge Greataxe.
Combat & Tactics[]
The Toxic Hive Lord attacks with both arms. It is vulnerable to Fire and Decay. Like all Hive enemies, Toxic Hive Lord is immune to Bleeding.
- Inflicts Pain
A good strategy for those struggling with this boss is to wear armor with high Protection in order to negate the damage from the hornets, while trying to hit and run the Hive Lord to avoid his attacks. Fire weapons, particularly those which inflict Burning, are effective against the boss.

The Hive Lord makes use of Hornet clouds to passively damage the player:
