Tier 2: Breakthrough Skill[]

Learning this skill will let you learn more advanced Rune Sage skills, but keep in mind that you can only specialize in three classes and your choice of specialization is permanent.

Well of Mana
1 BreakthroughIcon, 500 SilverIcon  |  Passive

Increases your maximum Mana by 40.

Tier 3: Specialization Skills[]

More advanced skills for those that specialize as a Rune Sage. The skills Internalized Lexicon and Runic Prefix are mutually exclusive - when you choose one you can never learn the other.

Arcane Syntax
600 SilverIcon  |  Passive

Gain access to more advanced runic combos.
Internalized Lexicon
600 SilverIcon  |  Passive

Removes the need to have an equipped Lexicon in your off-hand to cast runic spells.
Runic Prefix
600 SilverIcon  |  Passive

All runic spells are more powerful or have added effects

Rune Spells[]

Note: Casting Rune Magic spells requires a Lexicon, or the Internalized Lexicon passive.

Simple combinations

Advanced combinations[]

These combinations require Arcane Syntax passive skill.

Quotes[]

Runes are a highly flexible form of magic, and experimentation will be necessary. For beginners, a Lexicon is required to be held in the casters off-hand, as each rune has a multitude of meanings dependent on their context.
