Fishing is one of the crafting actions that players can do in Outward. Fishing allows players to gather seafood and other crafting components at specific fishing spots. Fishing requires a Fishing Harpoon in the player's inventory.

Fishing spots

Fishing spots are marked by bubbles and fish under the surface of the water. They are in fixed locations, and respawn about once every 24 in-game hours. This makes them very easy to fish repeatedly.

Potential loot

Fishing will produce at least one item, with a small chance for more.

1. In between the water purifier and the first dock on the right side.

2. In between two boats on the shore.

3. Right before the dock to the fishmonger.
