Full Build Details

Get 80 Mana at Conflux Mountain, 60 would probably work too, more is hardly ever beneficial. If you are unsure, you can always take 60 mana at first, and if you feel like more mana would make your life easier get another 20 later on.

Always keep Infuse Frost and Cool (skill) active. Start by casting Cool and when it's off cooldown, use Infuse Frost and Cool again. Whenever Cool is off cooldown, recast these 2 spells. Cast Infuse Frost before you sleep or travel between areas, as it will not run out during that, but the cooldown of Cool will reset. So cast Cool after sleeping/traveling and you'll have both effects active. Leyline Connection provides more than enough mana regeneration to keep these buffs up. If you are in a dungeon with many back to back fights use some mana regenerating food. Otherwise, Leyline Connection is also enough to regenerate the mana cost of the spells you use during combat.

Always start a fight by pulling your target with an Elemental Discharge. For most enemies you can just use melee attacks, blocking and maybe another elemental discharge to kill them.

If the enemy is stronger or somewhat resistant to frost damage, cast Sigil of Wind and Blessed (skill) before the fight and use Spark inside the sigil to activate Lightning Spark for extra lightning damage. You can also cast a Sigil of Fire on the same spot and buff yourself with Warm (skill). Since Sigil of Fire uses a Fire Stone as reagent to cast, so i wouldn't always do this. But if you do, Spark will also activate Fireball on top and together with Lightning Spark casting Spark will cause massive damage, all for low mana cost and on a low cooldown.

Against strong enemies cast Sigil of Wind and Sigil of Ice on top of each other and buff yourself with Rage, Blessed and maybe Discipline. Pull with Elemental Discharge and when the enemy is in range use Mana Push which will activate both sigils to form Ethereal Bolt and Frost Push which results in heavy damage as well as massive impact damage. When the enemy is within melee range use Mana Ward to combine it with Sigil of Ice to Frost Burst for high frost damage. From there fight with melee attacks and use these skills whenever they are off cooldown. You can also throw in Spark as well. Optionally you can also use Sigil of Fire here to power up your Spark with Fireball. Be aware that the Mana Ward inside the Sigil of Fire causes Immolate, which increases your fire damage (for the Fireball), but also places a weakish DoT on you.

Using a Luxury Tent i never had any stamina issues if i started a fight with at least 75% stamina. The only reason to use dodge rolls is elemental projectiles, but usually you can just soak them up and focus on killing your target. Simply block the other attacks with your shield. This combined with the high protection from Crimson Plate Armor and Crimson Plate Boots is what makes the build easy to use. There is no need to use the Mage Tent because of Leyline Connection and because you are often casting spells (like the buffs) which recovers burnt mana.

Use Reveal Soul and Conjure to get a ghost to distract enemies. This makes the use of sigils harder because the ghost often has aggro and tends to draw the monsters away from the sigils, but on the other hand, if the ghost has the aggro, the sigils aren't needed, just kill the monsters with melee attacks and elemental discharge. If the monster doesn't deal elemental damage the ghost is extremely durable and even monsters like Shell Horrors are no issue.

Conjure within a Sigil of Wind deals massive lightning damage, but the animation is so long that you will often be interrupted before the spell activates.

Alternative Equipment

Any shield can be used, the higher the impact resistance the better.

The backpack isn't essential.

If you are not a member of the Blue Chamber and can't pass on the Crimson Plate Armor and Crimson Plate Boots through Legacy Chests use Arcane Robe and boots with high defenses or maybe Rust Lich Boots.
