Ash Giant is a type of Giant enemy in Outward.
Description[]
Large Giants, found near Giants' Village in Hallowed Marsh, and also in Enmerkar Forest.
Another kind of Ash Giant, the Ash Giant Priest, can be found in Abrassar.
Combat & Tactics[]
Ash Giants have a vulnerability to Frost damage.
They are very slow-moving. They appear to have a short aggression radius, and will leave combat if you run a short distance compared to other encounters. They will only attack if their target gets too close or attacks first. They can easily engage other enemies that may be chasing you. Those found in the Steam Bath Tunnels are more aggressive, attacking on sight and chasing their targets for longer distances.
Their melee attack combos can deal 58.5 Physical on some attacks, and 76.5 on other attacks. A charging Ash Giant has great reach with its running attack, capable of hitting a fleeing player. If knocked down, they may attempt to strike back as they stand up.
