Ancestor's Resting Place is a location northwest of Berg in the Enmerkar Forest, marked as "Fort".
It can be found by leaving Berg via its north-western gate, and traversing a small valley containing many ruined buildings.
Exterior[]
The exterior area can also be reached by climbing over the hill in north-western Enmerkar Forest, immediately to the south-east when entering the forest from Chersonese. This is the fastest way from Chersonese to Berg, and to the Ancestor's Resting Place.
The exterior area of the Fort includes many ruined buildings, several Bandit enemies, and a Ghost. You can find the Bandit Manhunter in this area fairly often.
Interior[]
Upon entry from the forest, a glowing purple rune stone awaits at the bottom of the stairs. It reads:

Ancestor's Resting Place contains several locked gates, most of which require an Enmerkar Tomb Key to access, while a select few are only accessible if an appropriate lever is pulled. One of those levers (near two Bandit Slaves) is only accessible if the player enters Ancestor's Resting Place from the Necropolis entrance.
Path from Necropolis[]
After the attack on Berg during any faction quest-line, a ladder from Necropolis to the Ancestor's Resting Place is opened.
Note: for members of Heroic Kingdom, if you prevent the attack from occurring, the ladder will never appear.
